Wel after a long break, I thought I’d pick my Davros character re-design back up and start pulling it together more. For those not aware, Davros was a character from Doctor Who back in the ‘old days’ (ie when I watched it as a kid.) There are some serious rumours he wil been seen at the end of th next series, so I thought I’d better get my redesign in first. LOL

There is still some issues with one of the arms penetrating the chair and color work has been started but not final yet. I’ve upped the image with and without color to the gallery here on the site for those interested. He’s still got no ears, and no controls for the chair as yet, but at least he’s not half a model anymore. So it should be easier to get the motivation to finish him now.

This is the 8th Waynecast that I recorded a week or so ago and forgot to upload. The usual mixture of 3d related stuff and other random things, but you should know what to expect by now eh?

Well here it is as promised, a quick video of 20 of the 150 models I did last year,(actually 149… so shoot me for rounding it up lol.)  The only one not entirely done in Zbrush was the one for my 1^st Kurv studios DVD, although that too passed for finishing through Zbrush.  As I didn’t start using Zbrush till 1 month after release it’s actually 6 months to be totally honest, as I was working on some projects before that.  I’m not counting ones for clients of course.

I’ve included the good and the bad ones, as sort of a personal exploration of how Zbrush improved me as an artist.  It’s fair to say that the release of Zbrush 3 saw my work jump significantly in quality I think.  Basically it was 20 of the ones I still had on my drive at the time that I rounded up for this quick journey through last year.
